Dr Shrivastva qualified at Guy’s, Kings and St. Thomas’ Medical school, London and also achieved a first-class degree in Pharmacology. He then went on to gain accreditation in both Medicine and General Practice before studying postgraduate dermatology and minor surgery. He continued his post graduate dermatology study and gained the diploma in practical dermatology through Cardiff University in a addition to the postgraduate diploma in minor surgery. He then went on to study the assessment of skin lesions, and obtained both advanced and professional certificates before gaining the Professional diploma of dermatoscopy through Queensland University, Australia.
Dr. Shrivastva worked as a GP Principal for several years at Lake Road Surgery, and still works as a GP at the newly formed Island City Practice. He has performed thousands of procedures, both in the NHS and private sector in the last 15 years, and works in partnership with Perfect Skin Solutions where minor surgery is performed in purpose built surgical suites.
